Numerous culinary delights await you on the „Island of Eternal Spring“. We have put together a small selection of restaurants and cafes for you. These are places we can recommend and whose specialties we have been enjoying now and then for a long time. However, food is a matter of taste!
Candelaria
We start with the Palmelita in Candelaria. Indulge yourself here with excellent crepes (sweet or salted), delicious burgers, excellent cakes and ice cream. Located directly on the square of the Basilica of Nuestra Señora de Candelaria just a few meters from the sea, you will be spoiled with culinary delights in a cozy atmosphere.
Also in Candelaria you will find the „La Colifata“. Let yourself be spoiled by the Argentine cuisine directly at the sea, Argentine appetizers and excellent empanadas take care of your physical well-being. The only thing you have to do without here is a coffee after your meal, but otherwise everything is great.
El Médano
In El Médano there are countless restaurants where you can eat really well. If you are looking for an excellent pizzeria, you should have a look at the following two places.
San Miguel
Enjoy the original Spanish cuisine in a dreamlike ambience. A lovingly decorated courtyard and an original restaurant complete the culinary experience.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife
In the capital of the island you will find the „San Sebastian 57“, here you will be spoiled in a restaurant awarded with the „Bib Gourmand“ by MIchelin. The „Bib Gourmand“ award is given by the Guide Michelin for restaurants that offer menus with a particularly good price-quality ratio. Look forward to an excellent culinary event – in the truest sense of the word!
